Rachel with Baby blanket I made. We had so much fun helping Rachel and Weston get the babies room ready. Loved the color Rachel picked out. I wish I had a before and after of the dresser we painted for her.

A funny story

Yesterday, Mark was talking to a neighbor down the street on the phone. He was chuckling as he hung up.

Les is a elderly neighbor who is fixing up his house to sell. Mark has been over helping him do a few odd jobs. He recently had his roof fixed because it was leaking, so Mark repainted a part of his ceiling that he had painted this last year. He did not have the original paint anymore so Mark took something from his paint inventory that he thought would "match". Anyway, Les called him and was excited because when it dried it was exactly the right color, he could not tell where it had been repainted. Mark was laughing because in his conversation with Les the day he was fixing it, Les had mentioned that he was color blind. Ha ha, people are great!

I’VE GOT MY LOVE TO KEEP ME WARM
By Irving Berlin

The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing
But I can weather the storm
What do I care how much it may storm?
I’ve got my love to keep me warm

I can’t remember a worse December
Just watch those icicles form
What do I care if icicles form?
I’ve got my love to keep me warm

Off with my overcoat
Off with my glove
I need no overcoat
I’m burning with love

My heart’s on fire, the flame grows higher
So I will weather the storm
What do I care how much it may storm?
I’ve got my love to keep my warm

Thanksgiving at Anna's

A beautiful sunset on Detroit Lakes on our way home from Anna's to Wadena.

Tom and Olivia at Grandma D's on Friday.

Lynette and Tom came to visit Grandma D on Fri. after Thanksgiving

The Turkey Comma sets in!

Rachel putting "finishing" touches on Thanksgiving dinner. Yumm. I can't put in words how delicious the food was. Jim made an amazing smoked turkey, the greenbean casserole, creamed corn, stuffing, company mashed potatoes, gravy, lefsa, rolls, pumkin cheesecase pie, and apple pie was one to remember. It's amazing to see what good cooks are in the family, and it was so much fun to do it together.

Grandma D enjoying great grand kids in Germany.

Thanksgiving at Anna's was great. Sarah almost ready to go, but waiting.

Jan loves work searches so we had this work search for her birthday.

It has been too long since I wrote. I've been busy making Ziel's quilt top plus other things in life. Hope you are all doing good.
